Paul and Julie have forged strong links within the community of Weymouth and the restaurant is proud of its efforts to support many Dorset Charities over the years. Fish ‘n’ Fritz have raised funds for the Samaritans, the Nothe Fort, and Wyke Regis Preschool Nursery. The restaurant has strong links with Help for Heroes and is a very active fund-raiser for the British Legion. We raise funds for the National Mission for Deep Sea Fisherman, Action Against Hunger and of course one of Weymouth’s favourite charities the RNLI. The restaurant gives a percentage of funds from all Scampi sold to the Jubilee Sailing Trusts tall ship Lord Nelson enabling people with disabilities to sail. Paul is keen to support local artists and currently there is a selling display of attractive Relief Carvings of Fossils by Phil Anslow.
It is important to Fish ‘n’ Fritz that the restaurant is fully accessible to those with mobility issues, a wheelchair ramp is provided and a fully equipped disabled toilet. The restaurant offers a Braille Menu and the staff are very happy to help visitors with any special need. High chairs and booster seats are available and there are baby-changing facilities on offer.
The restaurant caters for all manner of parties be they retirement, wedding, hen or stag nights and a sincere service is available for wakes.
